Peer pressure is a factor that not only affects children and teenagers but also adults.Some people are easily lured into unhealthy lifestyle and situations just because their buddies are in it.As a person, one has to lead a personal life which is controlled by oneself.There are a number of ways of excluding this mess as below>>>
1.LEARN TO SAY NO- Always say no like you mean it. Never say Yes just because your gang is for it.
2.BE REPETITIVE- Never hesitate to state your position again and again.
3.BE AWAY FROM PRESSURE ZONES- Try as much as you can to be away from pressure zones as far as possible.
4.AVOID STRESSFUL SITUATIONS- pressure situations contribute majorly for an individual to be lured into harm.Because during pressure moments an individual isn’t thinking straight.
5.CONFRONT THE LEADER OF THE PACK- When only two with the gang leader.Pose hard questions on the leader such as,The importance of the habits and benefits of the employed character.
6.CONSIDERE THE CONSEQUENCES OF GIVING IN-Always ask yourself about the after-consequences of the peer habbit and behaviour.What would be the side effects? Would i die? What would my parents say?
7.LOOK FOR POSITIVE ROLE MODELS- find suitable role models whose character are far beyond the ones employed by the peer.
8.SEEK SUPPORT- A counsellor would be your suitable friend who would coach you how to get away from the peer and how to live life after getting away from the peer.
9.SPEAK OUT-Fight the pressure by taking the side of the underdog.
10.FIND NEW FRIENDS- try to find a new pack who don’t buy the characters of the previous peer group.
